So, in short, we have to treat the next game as a must win situation.

So, based on what Shahryar posted, we will have only a chance if we win or tie against Egypt. If we wil, it is clear. If we tie, we will have three points with a goal difference of 0, and goals scored of probably 2!

So, even if there are not 8 other third place teams that have 4 points, our goal difference will be the worst among the group. The the number of goals scored, 2, will probably be one of the lowest. So, I do not see a lot of possibility for us to advance with another tie.

Reza, I am glad that people l are keeping track of this stuff. Every day that passes, I learn more and more about the over expenditure for ridiculous personal items during the Shah era from people like you. This stuff rarely makes the public forums because Shahollahis do most of the yelling and screaming. However poorly justified these items' purchase was, they still belong to people of Iran and need to be returned to the country!

Here is the tie-breaker for 3rd place advancement:

How are World Cup third place standings determined?
When you finish third in your group, you are no longer being judged against the other three teams in front of you. Instead, you are ranked against the other 11 third-placed sides across all 12 groups. FIFA separates them using the following criteria, in order:
Points earned across all three group matches
Goal difference from all group matches
Goals scored in all group matches
Disciplinary record based on yellow and red cards picked up in the group stage (fewer cards is better)
FIFA world ranking, used only as a final resort if teams cannot be separated any other way

Here is the praying orders for today's games if you want Iran to have a chance to advance with 2 points

1. Pray that neither MEX nor KOR lose today.
2. Pray that BIH/QAT game has no winner.

SCO already has 3 points so don't waste your prayers on them. If both 1&2 happen then 9 groups are left and 7 of the 3rd place finishers from them will advance(77% chance).

Trump pressures oil companies over gas prices, orders DOJ probe

President Trump said early Wednesday that consumers are being "gouged" because gas prices haven't been falling as fast as crude oil prices have on world markets — so he's told the Department of Justice to begin an investigation.

He said on his Truth Social platform that, "The big Oil Companies are not dropping their price at the pump commensurate with the sharply lower prices they are paying for Oil. Those prices are dropping like a rock! In other words, customers are being "gouged." I have instructed the DOJ to immediately start looking into this. Gasoline prices better start going down a lot faster than what I'm seeing!"

Oil prices increased sharply when the Iran war began and gas prices followed. But while crude prices have dropped significantly since an interim agreement was reached to end the fighting, the decline in gas prices hasn't been as rapid. Gas prices generally tend to dip more slowly than they rise with respect to oil costs.
