Comments: Zinsky, I tend to agree with you regarding England. I do not think they can go far, and will probably get stopped in the Quarter Finals. But I do think they will go through the Group stage just fine.
Comments: For some reason I don’t think England will do as well as expected. Who will get the upset is the question.
Comments: I also do not agree that both Canada and USA will advance; I believe both will be eliminated before their third group game. As for IRAN, I believe we are fully capable of beating USA in our final game; especially under CQ's leadership. By then USA had already been eliminated and is playing for pride only, whatever it is they have left after two devastating losses against England and Wales. Iran on the other hand will most likely NOT get a result against England (although I prefer Faramarz's version). However, I give our selves an even chance to either draw against Wales or even beat them. This means we will have either 1 or 3 points when we face the pointless US in the last game. I feel we will win the last game 1-0 on Taremi's penalty that he created himself (red card for US Goalie!). We will definitely advance if we get 6 points and quite possible advance with 4 points in this group. It may come down to goal difference between us and Wales and how badly England will beat these two teams (by the way, I think the Brits will go through with 9 points).

Comments: Group H, looks good, except that I think Ghana will beat Korea.
Comments: Group G is the hardest one for me to predict. All four are good or excellent teams! I have a heard time picking a #2 in hat group!
Comments: Group F prediction is funny. Canada going up ahead of Croatia and Morocco. I think one of he latter two will go up but it is hard for me to pick which. By the way, is this the prediction of a canadian?
Comments: Group E looks good to me. Japan and Germany ending up with the same points will be a toss up which goes up and which goes home!
Comments: In Group D, the top 2 are good. France may beat Denmark or tie but that is inconsequential. They will be the top 2. But Tunisia will beat the crap out of Australia. Australia is quite weak. So, I think Tunisia will have three or may be four points and is in the third place. Ausies will be last.
Comments: Group C looks good except that I think Poland is much stronger than Mexico and will finish second. Mexico will be third.
Comments: Group B is the one I have the biggest disagreement and it is not all about Iran. For Iran, I am predicting a tie against England and Wales and a win against the USA for 5 points and finish second in the group. I think england will then go on to beat Wales and USA and finish with 7 points as the top team. I think Wales also will beat USA or they might tie. I am not sure. I think they might beat USA though. So, then I think Wales will end up with four points and finish third. The USA will have 0 or 1 point and finish last. USA has three players in Chelsea, Milan, and Juventus. But if you watch these players in their teams, they do not do sh$t. They do run like hell though. These players together in the same team will not add up to much.
Comments: I don’t see Canada advancing. The rest are reasonable assumptions.
Comments: Here is my initial reaction to the Group A prediction: I think Netherland as the top team is good. GhAter as the bottom team is also good. But I think Senegal will easily undo Ecuador. I think Senegal will go up as the second team from that group.
Comments: Wow, mamnoon Shahryar jAn. I am going through this group by group. I was against broadcasting our two games. I think the result is that opponents are no longer going into the game against us with blind ego.
Comments: At the least, it looks like some people are saying IRAN is "Dangerous" to play against..., finally some respect. But the real respect comes after we earn the passage to the next round by beating both Wales and USA.

Comments: World Cup 2022 — Group HOdds to advance: Portugal -700, Uruguay -190, South Korea +225, Ghana +225 Storyline to follow: Cristiano Ronaldo has spent the early stages of the 2022-23 club season looking washed. He no longer starts for Manchester United. Most likely outcome: Portugal and Uruguay both get tested, especially by South Korea, but pass with a B+ and B-, respectively. The game between them showcases a new generation, and accelerates their transition away from old guards. Portugal narrowly tops the group. More-likely-than-you-think outcome: South Korea can make some noise, especially if Uruguay is unprepared on Matchday 1. (Ghana, lamentably, can’t.) A Heung-Min Son screamer or two in that opener is a very plausible outcome, and would completely change the shape of the group. Prediction: The South Koreans give the South Americans a scare, but the favorites advance.

Comments: World Cup 2022 — Group GOdds to advance: Brazil -1400, Switzerland +115, Serbia +120, Cameroon +250 Storyline to follow: Switzerland and Serbia will, in all likelihood, meet on the final matchday in an early elimination game — and in a rematch of the 2018 World Cup's most political game. Most likely outcome: The weighting of this group feels a lot like Argentina’s. Brazil will surely win it. Cameroon surely won’t. And choosing between the other two for one available knockout-round spot is a true toss-up. More-likely-than-you-think outcome: Look, there’s a chance that either of the European teams could shock Brazil and win the group. But not a good chance. The Selecao are stacked and surging. Even if they’re held to a draw or two, they won’t crumble. Prediction: Chalk, and Switzerland (the more refined team) over Serbia (the more talented one) in the decider.
