My honorable and brave compatriots.
Peace be upon you who are bravely standing all over Iran; from Lorestan, Charmahal and Bakhtiari, and Isfahan to Kermanshah, Ilam and Khuzestan; from Fars, Hamedan and Zanjan, to Markazi, Qom, and Tehran; from Qazvin, Alborz and Gilan, to Mazandaran, and Khorasan and Hormozgan.
You are in the making of history; history that is being written with the courage, solidarity and determination of a nation to reclaim its country.
The Delawareans who have been murdered by this regime in the past two days are the true heroes of this land. Their names and memories will live forever in our national memory.
I ask all fellow countrymen to commemorate the memory of each and every Javidnaman of this national uprising not only in their city and homeland, but all over Iran and the world; to show that their way and goal is the way and goal of all of us and will continue until the day of Iran's freedom.
Stay united. Stay focused on the goal. Victory is ours.
Long live Iran.
Reza Pahlavi.
My brave and honorable compatriots,
I salute you for standing courageously across Iran—from Lorestan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, and Isfahan to Kermanshah, Ilam, and Khuzestan; from Fars, Hamedan, and Zanjan to Markazi, Qom, and Tehran; from Qazvin, Alborz, and Gilan to Mazandaran, Khorasan, and Hormozgan.
You are making history—history written by the courage, solidarity, and determination of a nation reclaiming its country.
Those who have been killed by this regime over the past two days are true heroes of this land. Their names and memories will live forever in our national conscience.
I call on all compatriots to honor each and every fallen hero of this national uprising—not only in their own cities and regions, but across Iran and around the world—so that we show their path and their purpose are shared by all of us, and will continue until the day Iran is free.
Stay united. Stay focused on the goal. Victory will be ours.
Long live Iran,
Reza Pahlavi

On Friday, January 2, 2026, the sixth day of the nationwide uprising, cities across the country were the scene of widespread confrontations between the people, rebellious youth, and the regime’s suppressive forces. According to reports received by 8:00 PM Tehran time, in addition to Tehran, residents in various cities protested, turning funeral ceremonies for martyrs of the uprising into furious demonstrations against the ruling religious dictatorship. By attacking repressive centers, they demonstrated their resolve to overthrow the regime.
On Friday night, in many areas of Tehran, including Tehranpars, Khak-e Sefid, Sattar Khan, and Sadeghieh, people took to the streets for demonstrations, chanting, ‘Death to the dictator’ and ‘Don’t be afraid, we are all together.’ In Tehranpars, they blocked the streets while chanting, ‘Freedom, freedom, freedom.’ Special units were deployed in Afsariyeh to prevent demonstrations.
Today, after Friday prayers, the courageous people of Zahedan demonstrated against the regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, chanting, ‘Death to the dictator,’ ‘Death to Khamenei,’ ‘We swear by the blood of our comrades, we will stand until the end,’ and ‘Iranians, shout, demand your rights.’ Rebellious Baluch youth blocked the old Zahedan road by setting fires and clashed with the regime’s mercenaries. The youth of Saravan also took to the streets, chanting, ‘Khamenei is a murderer, his rule is illegitimate.’
In Fars province, Marvdasht became a center of intense clashes. Thousands participated in the funeral for an uprising martyr, Khodadad Shirvani, who was killed by gunfire from mercenaries yesterday. The crowd chanted, ‘Death to Khamenei,’ ‘Death to the IRGC and Basij,’ and ‘I will kill, I will kill the one who killed my brother.’ The defiant youth then marched towards Police Station 11. They were met with gunfire from military-grade weapons from the rooftops of the police station and Bank Sepah, while a helicopter patrolled overhead. However, the youth took control of parts of the city through hit-and-run tactics. In Nurabad, Fars, defiant youth engaged in clashes and hit-and-run battles with repressive agents of the State Security Force (SSF). The cities of Kavar and Firuzabad in Fars province also witnessed popular protests.
In Lorestan province, the funeral ceremony for an uprising martyr, Amirhossein Khodayarifard, in Kuhdasht became a scene of intense confrontation with suppressive forces. SSF mercenaries, who attempted to prevent the ceremony and confiscate the martyr’s body, were met with the courageous resistance of the public and youth and were forced to flee. The martyr’s family rejected the regime’s false narratives, stating their son had no connection to the Basij and had died for freedom. Fearing the spread of the uprising, Kuhdasht’s criminal prosecutor admitted to arresting 20 protesters and filing judicial cases against them. On Friday evening, the people of Borujerd also took to the streets and chanted anti-regime slogans.
In Isfahan province, the body of an uprising martyr, Dariush Ansari Bakhtiarvand, 37, who was killed during protests in Fuladshahr on the evening of December 31, was buried under a heavy security presence. Despite pressure and threats from intelligence agents against the family, many attended the ceremony, emphasizing their commitment to continuing the path of the martyrs. In the city of Ziar, residents also took to the streets, chanting anti-government slogans.
In Qom, youths set fire to an SSF motorcycle while chanting, ‘This year is the year of blood, Seyed Ali will be overthrown,’ and ‘We did not sacrifice martyrs to compromise or to praise the murderous leader.’ In Hamedan, demonstrations have continued for several consecutive nights, with protesters clashing with suppressive forces who opened fire on them. Ambulances are being used to transport these forces and to attack protesters.

There is always the comparison to 79 revolution when there is a movement in Iran. US/Carter told Shah to not kill many, if any of the demonstrators. They obviously did some but not to the extent that we have seen since IRI took over. They (Mullahs) know what happened 47 years ago. They realize they can’t control the crowds if they don’t act decisively.
Another similarity is that they (US/West) created a leader and gave him a mouthpiece (BBC/VOA) to motivate the masses. Khomainy didn’t have to do much other than sending massages directly or indirectly to the people.
The game plan is similar even though things are very different. Reza Pahlavi was picked to lead from afar. Send massages while working with IS/West making promises.
What would the result is unknown but the game is familiar.
All I personally could hope for is to see a positive change without massive bloodshed.

Where is RPG? Is he going to hide and in the end come out and claim that he did all this?

We all know how putting one's faith in the hands of the USA, and even worse Trump, turns out. We have seen this movie many times in Iran, Iraq, Syria, ...

How is Trump going to come to the demonstrator's rescue? Bomb some more? This does nothing to the government. Anything short of an all out war will not do anything. This is something that Trump will not do because it will upset Putin.

I fear that without a leader, this is only another exercise of identifying people and getting them arrested. The other fear is that this is only for the exercise of putting pressure on iri to get more concessions from them and put the country on sale. Russia, China, and USA will benefit from this. So, I anticipate the bolstering will continue but without any real accomplishment for people.

People of Iran need to find their own destiny rather than move when the west wants them to move. This will only lead to them being used as a tool.

France defends decision to grant George Clooney and his family French citizenship amid criticism

Actor George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney were granted French citizenship because "they contribute, through their distinguished actions, to France's international influence and cultural outreach," the French government said Wednesday, defending their naturalization that was questioned by a junior French minister.

The naturalizations of the Kentucky-born star of the "Ocean's" series of heist movies, his wife and human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, and their twins Ella and Alexander were announced last weekend in the Journal Officiel, where French government decrees are published.

Marie-Pierre Vedrenne, a junior minister at the Interior Ministry, expressed misgivings Wednesday that some of the Clooneys' new French compatriots may think that the star couple was granted special treatment. The actor speaks only what he himself says is "horrible, horrible" French.

"The message being sent is not good," Vedrenne said in an interview with broadcaster France Info. "There is an issue of fairness that, in my eyes, is absolutely essential."

President Trump piled on the criticism against the move, saying France was welcome to the two-time Academy Award winner, a long-time vocal critic of the U.S. leader.

Doesn’t matter if Trump actually do anything about this, it’s only going to make the demonstrators feel more emboldened which might be all they need. I’m praying for them and hope they get what they deserve.
