Are the tax incentives only for people who owe taxes or will you get the tax credits regardless of whether you owe money or not? I think the clean car credits are only for people who owe taxes. Comments: Canada will be pointless in their group stage, and most likely with one goal or less, and will struggle. Japan will have competitive games, although they have a tough group against Germany and Spain; both being beatable, but Japan cannot make same mistakes as they did against Belgium last time. They may still get 4 points and advance, but no chance for Canada.
Comments: I will not put too much stock in these friendly results. Whether a team wins or loses, is no indication of how they do in World Cup games. They are merely there for the coaches to try different people in different positions and various strategies. Japan's loss to Canada or win against USA is truly meaningless. For the same token, Iran's loss against Tunisia or win against Uruguay, although this latter one may have significance, since both teams wanted t prove something additional to just trying people out.
Comments: Wow, do we need to respect Canada now? I am still sticking with my prediction that they will finish last in their group. But Japan, eventhough in a very tough group, I think will do well, in terms of holding their own. Whether they will advance to the next round, I am much less certain.
