Comments: I'm always in the mood when Iran plays. They are in a very tough group with KOR, UZB and LEB. They got pretty talented players mostly from PGL and a young and hungry coach in Omid Ravankhah. I think it's gonna be a boom or bust for them, either win the group or place last ![]() Iran - S. Korea....Wed. 1/7 at 3:30AM PST

Comments: International relations! It’s much more complicated than most of us could imagine. I’m not sure what is the game plan between US/West and Russia/China. If they do have a plan to divide the world between them, it will happen. Latest movement in Iran is to further destabilize the regime by attacking the factories and manufacturing areas that are owned by the big guys in Iran. It seems that the world is quietly moving away from this regime and planning to take over the country and make it work for them. It seems Russia accepted the fact that Ukraine and few other Eastern European countries are worth passing the other countries like Syria, Venezuela and Iran to US. China also wants a total dominance in Eastern Asia.
Comments: Moscow doesn’t and never will allow Iran to turn into a Western puppet like the Pahlavi regime was. That indeed is a red line for them as the proximity and shared borders make it impossible for Russia to sleep at night if a NATO aligned country is bordering it to the south. So I believe even if for short term, IR is staying where it is at.
Comments: Dollar surpassed 147,000 Toman for the first time. This can’t be good for Khamenie, he’s days are numbered if they can’t control the runaway train that’s inflation this time.
Comments: Neem Pahlavi is never going to Iran. I will take polymarket bet on that. 😉

Comments: Protesters angry over Iran’s ailing economy conducted a sit-in Tuesday at Tehran’s Grand Bazaar, witnesses said, with security forces ultimately firing tear gas and dispersing demonstrators as the rest of the market shut down. The protest at the Grand Bazaar, the beating heart for centuries of both Iran’s economic and political life, represents the latest signal that the demonstrations likely are to continue as the country’s rial currency fell to a record low Tuesday. Already, violence surrounding the protests has killed at least 35 people with authorities detaining more than 1,200 others, activists abroad say. Meanwhile, the situation is likely to worsen as Iran’s Central Bank drastically reduced the subsidized exchange rates for dollars it offers to importers and producers in the country. That likely will see merchants pass on price hikes in the coming days for goods directly onto consumers, whose life savings already have dwindled over years of international sanctions targeting the Islamic Republic.
Comments: The world is going crazy. Take care of yourselves friends. Zinsky, u r brave going to iran in this time.

Comments: I can’t stop wondering what will happen to TM and the players if this latest movement in Iran continues without success until WC. More “besharaf” slogans? More fans cheering for their loss? It is even worth coming to US?

Comments: “"I think we can do it in less time than that, but it’ll be a lot of money," Trump told NBC News in an interview Monday. "A tremendous amount of money will have to be spent, and the oil companies will spend it, and then they’ll get reimbursed by us, or through revenue," he said. Whether the U.S. government ultimately agrees to reimburse the oil industry's costs in Venezuela, or alternatively, decides that future revenue is sufficient repayment, will likely be a key factor for the oil companies as they consider their options. Trump declined to say how much money he believes it would cost companies to repair and upgrade Venezuela's aging oil infrastructure. "It’ll be a very substantial amount of money will be spent" by the oil companies, Trump said.
