Comments: The other thing that is new is the overtime they are giving for each game. Iran's game was unusual because of all the injuries but even the USA-Wales game had 9 minutes of extra time. Right now Denmark - Tunisia is in its 99th minute!
Comments: Yes, Beiro is great is his decision when to come out. Hosseini could have come out on a couple of occasions and he didn't. The two middle backs did horrible yesterday. I think this was partially because of absence of Beiro! A few of those goals were by players who were all alone, no defense near by to disturb! I wonder if this was because they rely on Beiro to come out in those situations.
Comments: I don't think Hosseini should play against Wales. I agree, at least 2 out of 6 goals could have been saved. I didn't see any major saves by him. He seemed overwhelmed. I wouldn't say it was all his fault but our defense depends on the goalie to do his job. With BV out, the whole system fell apart.
Comments: Denmark - Tunisia is still 0-0 in minute 73. I have never done well in prediction contests, but did real well on Day 2. If these two tie, I may do well again today. Comments: I do not know about you guys, but I thought Hosseini as good as he is, he is no Beiranvand. I thought a couple of goals yesterday were savable. I think the loss of Beiranvand is also huge.
