Comments: Japan is hanging on with nails and teeth from one end barely stopping the second german goal and trying to equalize. They just messed up an excellent chance to tie the game! Minute 73. This is a great back and forth game now. Kudos to Japanese midfield though.
Comments: This is an unusual German team. It is less "big" and physical in the middle and forward positions, but more agile and skilled. Unusual for a German team.
Comments: They are, I think, a bit shaken being behind at this point because of a PK that could have been prevented! 
Comments: Japan is doing worse than I was hoping. They are easily the best in Asia and so far have been flat. Germany scored a second goal which was called offside, but the Japanese player set up the german goal perfectly in that sequence. They are not playing with their heads!
