Comments: Honestly, I underestimated Croatia in the last world cup and again now. But after watching a few of their games, every time I was impressed!
Comments: For TM in the next few years, of course the age of the coach does not matter. What he does with the team does. CQ's age does not bother me at all. But the team is old. Basically, thanks to the incompetence of IFF, and some horrible contracts, we essentially ended up with no coach for two years. The money wasted in those contracts was not the biggest loss. It was time. That was the time to rebuild this team with young blood. Instead we sat on our asses happy that we are beating ArAgh and went into the WC with one of the oldest teams. The worst waste of time was Skocic not the Belgian dude because Skocic wasted the most time. What I would want the coach to do is to retire a whole lot of the players and bring in a ton of young blood. When Ali Daei took over the team, the situation was similar an dhe did a nice job of bringing young blood in. CQ also does a great job of this. I would not give the team to anyone else. The likes of GN will just drain IFF of money and take bribes to bring players on. That would be the worst thing.
Comments: I have always been impressed by Croatia. They always are focused no matter what the situation. I will be rooting for them, if Japan does not make it.
Comments: What a finish to the Belgium - Croatia game. Unbelievable ending! Lukaku missed something like four empty goal chances from close range!!!!!!! This is the second WC I see Belgium entering each and every game with very poor body language. Almost like TM this time around. It is almost as if there is a fight in their locker room before every game and they are split into conflicting groups. In the end of this game that attitude found them a way to lose! In the other game, Morocco took care of business and won the group. They did well. Croatia also always is underrated until they show up and do well. I am not sure why that is. Today, with the exception of the last 15 minutes, Croatia was superb.
Comments: Belgium should have scored 5 goals today but they are out with a tie!
