Comments: Faramarz, You are correct on 30% vs 28%. In all honesty, I think they should make it 50%. There are various rebates from your city/state as well. My utility also has a program that should be helpful (I have to read it carefully). At the end of the day, it’s an investment that will pay off somewhere between 7-15 years depending on various factors. After that it should be free (unless you have to fix/exchange the panels!!!).

Comments: Zinsky, I read that the Inflation Reduction act also returned the 30% tax credit for solar systems. Without it, it would have been 26%. I think you will qualify for this since the time that you turn your system on matters. And, you haven't done it yet.
