Back to sport! We still don’t have a coach! Club games are played without fans. Nothing is planned for the next few months. Just business as usual…

Long weekend guys. I didn't have a chance to contribute. I see that we are diverging from sports again. And, those of you who do, please note that you are inviting pests from the other site.

My bit on the politics before I change into sports is that we have a movement in our country that unsurprisingly coincides with broad dissatisfaction across all ranks of the population. The fact that this movement, in spite of such broad dissatisfaction, is struggling to bring more people onto the streets is a spectacular failure. It is important to understand why not more people are coming out. I think it is in part because of people like those who run the other site. The people who are competing to be the next leaders of the country and their supporters are intolerant of any disagreement and are all about prescribing how the people should be from out here. This is true for both MojAhedin and Valiahd's camps. MojAhedin are rotten from the core including the leadership, and the saltanat talabs (the supporters) are making Valiahd look that way. Valiahd has a few other issues that is not necessary to get into here.

A good mini example is this board. Because we allow people to express their opinion, regardless of their angle, we must be the enemy. This makes the ones who are racing for leadership of this movement look like power grabbers rather than people who actually care for people's condition.

I like the 'goozpeech observer' tag since it seperates me from my impostor

But I'm not Rahim, Keefer or Zereshk. You have accute paranoia if you think so.

My prediction: we will be all dead before a regime change in Iran.

Shahryar khan thanks for explanation. Yes everyone knows Keefer and Rahim are the same. He also posts as goozpich observer and also Zereshk. That is obvious to everyone. He insulted kamkar by calling him (a non Iranian tajzieh talab) because he is Kurd and yet Faramarz and yourself called Keefer a class act.

Anyways past is past. We all make mistakes. Remember how they reacted about your nephew being imprisoned. He essentially told you good luck; he deserves it. Right now Zinsky is the only vocal person against the regime on this page and that is why everyone is praising and supporting him.

To change the vibe of this page I suggest the following. Something that you are really good at Shahryar khan. Let's have a prediction when IRI will be toppled. I think it will be fun. My date is March 8, 2023. Anyone else wants to predict?

dear rahgpozar,

I am not sure where Keefer is these days, and do not exactly know Rahim that much. But I can tell you for sure that Faramarz is a true Iranian and thinks only about what is right for Iran.

There are those who are against the current regime in Iran and will say and do anything to undermine them, and here are the key words: AT ALL COST.

There are those of us, whom will not stoop that low. We are true Iranians and only care about our country and our people. We do not have a hidden agenda, as many on other boards obviously do. There are those who are 100% willing to sell themselves, their country, their county-men, their family, wife and children, our natural resources to the highest bidder, just to get rid of the current regime.

As much as people like me, Faramarz and many others on this board want the current regime to just disappear and be gone, we do not wish to destroy our country and sell it to the foreigners, to achieve that. This is the biggest difference between true Iranians and "vatanforoosh".

I assure you that no one on this Board is, as you called them "IRI sympathizers". If you have been reading the posts here for the past couple of months, I am sure you would come to the same conclusion.

I am certain I speak for Faramarz, myself and many others when I say, we welcome you on this Board. This is gentlemen's board, and I hope you get to post here more often, if your intentions are honorable, as the rest of us.

I was only talking about myself. I don’t know about others unless they specifically say so. I try not to judge people based on what they “don’t say”.
That was why I asked Rahim. I didn’t want to assume. He was very clear on his support and the reason why. As I mentioned, I would not argue with him as I don’t see much, if any, common ground.

I did read what kAmkAr posted on the other site. First thing, I really appreciate his kind words. If people read posts without bias or preconceived notions, they would understand things better.

kAmkAr jaan,
I stopped posting there because my posts were deleted by another Admin because I was challenging few things he didn’t like. I was also asked as a co-admin to delete many posts. I disagreed. Lastly, it was the gang mentality that was developing in the site. If I disagreed with one person in the gang, I would get attacked by all.

As you already know, I have made my opinions known to all for a long time. If regular readers are still confused, it is not my issue…

Zinsky khan. Are you saying that Keefer (aka Rahim) and Faramarz are not IRI sympathizers? Can you tell me why and ease my mind, so I can post here comfortably?

Something that has become a norm these days and not just among Iranians is the total politicization of just about everything.
as Bush Jojeh said, “you are either with us or against us“!
it was a big debate on it during Floyd demonstrations. You couldn’t just “not” be racist, you had to fight it Or you were racist!
same happened in recent years in Iran and Iranians. If someone didn’t come out and said I’m against the system, they were labeled sympathizer or worse.
This was the case with our football players. They had to come out and fight the system to prove their loyalty.
Not being the loudest voice in the room is not the same as being for or against anything.

By the way, I want to second what Farid said. I think you guys have managed something special here. You disagree and yet are able to keep it within the boundaries of civility. Well, everyone has, except the pest from oonyeki.

Well done guys. Really proud of you guys. It is an honor to know you all. Perhaps we are looking at the glimpse of the future of our country here.

Yeah, that was new as well. It was also new that in Australia only travelers could have alcohol! That is actually funny. I wonder what the reason for this was!

Apparently, in old Australia, alcohol sells were only allowed for travelers and only “hotels” could serve alcohol…
Live long enough and you can something all the time.

I didn’t know that either!!!
An Australian pub or hotel is a public house or pub for short, in Australia, and is an establishment licensed to serve alcoholic drinks for consumption on the premises. They may also provide other services, such as entertainment, meals and basic accommodation.
