I remember my uncle who was a relatively famous economist in USA and Iran told me some 25 years ago when dollar was about 1,000 that it will reach 50,000 in coming years. He was right on the amount but a little early on timing.
He told everyone who would listen to save dollar instead of rial or gold. I don’t know if anyone listened back home but …

The Central Bank of Iran on Tuesday sharply curtailed the ability to buy euros amid continued weakness in the rial.
Iran will limit the purchase of euros to 500 a year for air passengers, according to state-run media cited by Bloomberg. Previously, Iranians were able to buy up to 5,000 euros ($5,324.3) per year from authorized sellers.
This comes as foreign-exchange sellers in Tehran were overrun by people looking to trade in their rials before the Iranian year's end.
Monday's push to sell rials followed the currency's rapid decline in value, dropping to a record low of 501,300 rials per US dollar. The day's massive sell-off even led to fighting outside foreign-exchange offices, as customers tried to break through security, according to Bloomberg.

به گزارش خبرنگار مهر، دیدار تیم های فوتبال سپاهان و پرسپولیس در مرحله یک هشتم نهایی رقابتهای فوتبال جام حذفی از ساعت ۱۵ امروز چهارشنبه در ورزشگاه نقش جهان اصفهان برگزار شد که در پایان ۱۲۰ دقیقه سرخپوشان ۴ بر ۲ حریف خود را شکست دادند. این دیدار در ۹۰ دقیقه با تساوی ۲ به ۲ خاتمه پیدا کرده بود.

It’s been a crazy winter around the world. California got more rain than it had for the past 20 years, combined and more is coming. Tehran had more snow than most people remember in many years. East cost has been much milder in general but had 2-3 extreme cold weathers, not seen in 100 years. Northern Europe has been too warm for skiing but had some snow in Hawaii!!!

Call it whatever you want but the next 20-30 years will bring massive changes to the weather. We might not care as much (we are too old 😩) but our kids need to plan ahead.
