Death toll rises to 13, hundreds of thousands in the dark from massive winter storm

Jalil Zandi began in the Imperial Iranian Air Force and after the 1979 Islamic revolution stayed on to serve in the IRIAF when it was somewhat dangerous for pilots to continue their military service. While a major, he often clashed with his superior Lt. Col. Abbas Babaei. Abbas Babaei was "notorious for his merciless treatment of the pilots and officers" considered disloyal to the Islamic regime and because of this Jalil Zandi was condemned to ten years of imprisonment. When he was in prison, he was threatened to be sentenced to death, but by demand of the then-air force commander and many other air force pilots, he was released after six months.

Iranian Air Force Major Jalil Zandi was a daredevil, balls-to-the-wall fighter pilot with an awesome ‘stache, a badass love of awesome aviator sunglasses, and a reputation for taking the Highway to the Danger Zone and doing the sort of awesome coffee-spilling Ghost Rider requesting fly by shit that got Maverick in trouble like all the time. A daredevil asskicker who pulled three Gs every time he threw on a pair of shades, Zandi had been one of the pilots hand-selected to visit the United States and train on the Tomcat with the most badass pilots the US Navy had to offer. So, naturally, when the Ayatolla came to power and declared a new ultra-conservative Islamic republic, Jalil Zandi was one of the first guys arrested at gunpoint in the middle of the night, thrown in jail, and sentenced to ten years in prison for disloyalty to the new regime. Because apparently the fact that this guy had once set foot in the United States far outweighed the benefits of having a highly-trained F-14 Tomcat pilot on his flight roster.

This happened across the country. Many of the F-14 pilots and techs who had trained in the states were arrested or killed

I also think US is trying to make themselves look good by faking to stop Israel.  Today’s Yahoo News changed the tone with a Top US general said we need to unite with Israel against Iran.  Your expert analysis is now even stronger because Iran asked for Russian S400 to defend Israeli F-35. By the way Shahryar Jan, is your nephew who got arrested a few months ago ok? They did free a lot of people. You did not update us on that. Hope he is doing well. 

Zinsky khan, this iranian living in West picking up bad behavior does it include you or you are excluded? 🙂 I don’t disagree with this general comment.
