Yeah, they closed before u got there Zinsky. Totally agree with you on the quality versus quantity. San Diego is similar, even though has a much bigger Iranian population. There are a lot of Persian restaurants but none are even mediocre after COVID.

Too bad. They closed it before I moved here. Non of the existing ones are “classy” but some have decent food. There are a million restaurants in Boston but Persian food is not as popular.
I sometimes wish instead of 10+ mediocre restaurants, they would combine effort and have 2 or 3 really good ones!!! The latest estimate puts the Persian population in Boston area at 25K. I am not sure. The Newruz party brings some 100-150 people together. Interesting enough, there are few Iranians who lived here for 65-70 years. I know 2 of them. They came here in 1950s!!!

Oh I remember now. It is called LAleh Rokh. But unfortunately, it looks like they closed down: https://www.bostonmagazine.com/restaurants/2018/07/24/lala-rokh-closed-august/.

A shame really, because it was one of the few real classy places. They paid a lot of attention to presentation of the food. Google and take a look at the images for yourself.

Not sure if I know that restaurant. There are multiple restaurants in Boston. I think nearly 10 or so. The best ones are Mediterranean grill and Vanak. I’ve tried all of the ones I could find. Mostly are expensive but not so good!

Rashti jAn, have a great time. Don't forget to visit a persian restaurant whose name escapes me now but it is near the Commons and steps down into a basement. It is a classy joint.

He met King Nut in a break room of sort along with Arj chairs, a water cooler and a power outlet!
