No disrespect but America was a must better team today. Sweden played a very smart defensive game and got the result. This was the first game I actually watched during this tournament.
Of course, USA is not the best team anymore. They are good but others have improved as well.

یک زمانی آمریکا استیو می‌آورد بقیه فاطی. هی آمریکا اول میشد. حالا همه نه تنها استیوشون رو میارند روش اصغر قلمکار هم اضافه می‌کنند. آمریکا را چند دفعه در این بازی ها کزدن.

با تیمهایی مثل اسپانیا. امریکا ول مطلعه. نه تنها استیو و اصغر داران, تکنیکو فن هم بلدن.

The other side of the bracket seems weak. No one is dominating yet. We'll have to see if there are any sleepers like the men's tournament, or this is it. If this is it, Final will be boring and one sided. But Japan - Spain will be a doozy for sure.

Same here, Hamvatan jAn. Started with the expectation of boring games with many mistakes but then saw Spain's highlights against Japan. Both teams were good , had plans, and were executing. Spain plays the beautiful game and not with a lot of mistakes. They can also shoot from a distance and cross from far away which only few womens team could sort of do. It looks a lot like the men's game.

I plan to watch the Spain - Japan game in full length. My first.

I haven’t seen a full game but planning to either watch the semifinals live or record them.
I still think Japan and England will go all the way.

Faramarz and Rashti Aziz, I saw 3 full games of Spain and not just the highlights. They are in full control. The other team hardly gets any possession since they press high. I think the same with Spain beating Japan the next time and winning the final as well. I am rooting for them as they play a beautiful brand. Tell you the truth, I did not care for WWC except for seeing some highlights as the games seemed boring with a lot of mistakes and without a decent flow. Then I accidently caught the start of Spain-Zambia game. I planned to watch few minutes to kill time before going to bed but got hooked by the quality of Spain's game and watched the whole game and the last 2 games afterwards. I have been a fan of Barca for a long time and love this style.

Hamvatan and Rashti: I saw the highlights of all spain games. I have to say that they look very strong. Certainly at several levels higher as compared to tournament "favorites" of USA. When they run into Japan again, it will be an interesting affair. They play the Barca style very well and have the best attack in the World Cup. But two teams, Japan and USA, play the CQ style of the game. USA does not have the players or the speed to capitalize but this Japanese team as they showed against Spain is very poisonous. I think Japan may come out on top again. This would be a damn shame for such a good team like Spain. But that is how it is. 

The fact that this Spain team left 15 players behind is unbelievable. This means that Spain could have fielded two teams at this tournament and have them both reach the finals, beating everyone else handily!

هموطن عزیز بسیار تعجب آوره که ۱۵ بازیکن بهتر هنوز در اسپانیا وجود داره. این تیم اسپانیا به نظر من بهترین تیم دنیاست با فاصله زیاد. فقط بخاطر تاکتیک و دیسیپلین ژاپن به ژاپن باختند. به نظر من در نیم نهایی اسپانیا ژاپن را خواهد زاد و اول میشه.

 آقا زینسکی من فکر میکنم  مردم ایران بیش از ۶۰% زیر خط فقر هستند. خیلی ها دو سه وعده در هفته گشت میخورند. فشار اقتصادی رو مردم ایران الان بسیار بالاست.

I have watched the last 3 games of Spain's women NT. They are nothing short of Barca or the men's NT style . They lost to Japan with Japan doing a disciplined counter attack style against them (CQ style). I think they learned from that game and their defense line became more compact closing spaces in the middle against Swiss. Japan has a lot of qualities as well. I think they will meet in the final of their side of the bracket with Spain winning and going to final and eventually wining the whole thing.
In their first games, since the were unknown for most of the fans attending, their individual and collective moves kept bringing OOHs and AAHs every few second. They are fun to watch since they make very few mistakes (except for last night scoring one for the other side[smile]).
Also, this Spain team is not their best squad! They left 15 of their top players out due to mutiny against the coach and pressure. The player who scored own goal was the third choice in her position, the 2 ahead of her were left out.
