Comments: Faramarz, It’s all about what makes you happy. Some enjoy the luxury things in life. They want to have the biggest house, best cars and… some want more time off and more secure jobs/lifestyle. It’s all good. It’s not better or worse, just different people wanting different things.
Comments: Zinsky jAn, I lived in Germany for five years, and it was exactly how you describe it. Italy is similar, so is Belgium, Sweden, Holland, and Denmark. My collaborators in Sweden check out for the entire summer! I wish we had a life style like that. One of the biked with her group from Stockholm to Milan and back in the three months of summer! Isn't that great?

Comments: Wow! Farid, real interesting stuff. I have to wonder though how much of this is manufactured/stretching the truth. West is well known in its rewriting the history. This, as it is emerging, seems to be justifying interference of the US and the British in Iranian affairs and the subsequent invasion and occupation. On the other hand, with that assassination stuff, it serves to smear Reza Shah which would also have its own benefactors. I would like an independent confirmation of these claims by a non-western source.

Comments: I also found this. But I have heard the rumor that there is also a thank you note from Reza Shah to Hitler! I could not find that. 
Comments: So, here is the story that I read about Naziabad: Just prior to WWII, Reza Shah had asked Hitler for Germany’s help to complete the cross country railroad and railway system. The Germans known for efficiency, decided it’s best to live near to the main station to cut on commute time. But since the neighborhood was undeveloped, they set out to create a small town, and they did, hence the name Nazi Abad.

Comments: Faramarz, Most European don’t care as much about material possessions as we do here. They spend their money on good food, good drinks, good night out and mostly on a good month long vacation each year. That was mostly true for a very long time but changing now. Most didn’t own a big house or a fancy car. I worked in Germany in early 90s. The director of engineering (the German company) lived in a two bedroom apartment with his wife and two kids, drove a small car and didn’t own anything fancy. Instead, they went out almost every night and had a great dinner. They took a whole month of August off to go to southern Europe for vacation.
Comments: So, here is what I have been able to figure out regarding moving to Europe. From what I saw, some countries are poor but have a better established system. For example, Germany is one of the poorer countries where many rent rather than own. Italian are the opposite where most are owners. But their governments are the opposite, the German government has a lot more funding and a lot more established infrastructure for things like Health Care. Italian healthcare is top notch also. But in a country of owners like Italy, I find a lot of monopoly which would be very hard to deal with if you are not there and not italian. So, as much as I love Italy, I find ownership in Italy very problematic. Not so much in Germany though.
