Could not agree more here. If you are referring t globalization in terms of communication, it is mostly true with some notable exceptions. Access to certain content in China and the USA is more difficult. Access to everything is difficult in countries like Iran.

 

 

 
I agree with this to some extend. I do not believe that we can blame all our lack of issues on the means of communication. Some people are black and white. This is what their beliefs demand it behind a computer or not. Trump is a good example. In person, they behave more civil but that is only a polite face they put on (my experience). It is not who they really are. Divisive policies do this to people. This is why wars happen. And those are all in-person. :) ShahollAhis are another group. My way or high way. Along with that also comes all the labeling, smearing, character assassination. Some times insecurity and some other personality disorders also come along and play a role there. These are unrelated to the means of communication. This is clearly the case with some folks on the other site.

 

 

 
Very true and agree totally. But good luck convincing people with insecurity of this. You will percieved as the enemy every time. This is what all your issues on the other site is about. I have seen you repeat this at least four dozen times. I do not think you have gotten anywhere. You have only received the fake polite face.

 

 

 

 Totally agree, but with one minor clarification. This is only how I am. I do not hold a special place in my heart (as far as economic prosperity goes) for America. This is solely because for the past two centuries that has equated to miserly and exploitation of the rest of the world. In good conscience, I cannot put my pocket ahead of people's lives in other parts of the world, regardless of where they are. In that sense I am very much a globalist. For this reason, solely, I also criticize America, the country the harshest because its policies have clear global impact.
