Comments: Yes, I have seen that as well. The choices they pushed forward were so obviously damning that surely must bring shame to them to admit it. But there is a second angle. They used this to paint anyone who disagreed with them as government supporters. And in the process they alienated themselves by chasing people away with the labeling and smearing, and showing that they have no understanding of concepts like democracy. Surely all this must be very difficult to admit now. The only way left is to plow forward on the same path!

Comments: As the ensuing war in Iraq over a million women and children died. No one mentions this here in the west because those lives were not important. What I found sad was that some people whom we know were cheering that war and hoping that Iran would be next. Scary example of "biroon goad" -- simply offering millions of lives in Iran as sacrificial lamb while siting all the way here in California. Now they are wondering why no one is willing to follow them. The one good news from the recent uprising was that people in Iran did not really care what the California-imposed king is doing or when he is hiding.

So many “experts” were talking about Iraq’s military as if it was one of the best in the world. As Iranians, we knew it was bull as we fought against them for 8 years. Either way, American generals and CIA leadership was pumping Iraqis troops as well prepared and heavily armed/trained. We all know what happened to them and the country! A federal police spokesperson earlier said officers, acting on a threat of an attack sent via email, searched a plane with 198 passengers from Tehran that had landed in the northern German city. The German air force said on its X social media account that it escorted the plane after it entered German airspace east of Berlin due to a bomb threat. Police interviewed passengers, which is normal procedure when a threat is classified as serious, the police spokesperson told Reuters. No takeoffs or landings were possible because the airport fire brigade was involved with the search, the spokesperson added.

Comments: That is my thinking as well. It would be impossible to bring that many rockets and store them without Israel knowing and doing something about it. I think this is all BS for consumption in america, justifying more money into israel and gather more political support for israel.

Comments: I’ve heard different numbers. 150K is possibly the highest. You are correct. It’s impossible to store that many rockets and keep the location secret. I have no idea but assume they have few thousands and keeping them in various locations. If they fire all of them at the same time, the iron dome will stop 70% or so of them depending on the size. I believe Israel has already fired few hundred rockets into Gaza in the past day. It will cause damage for sure but it will not destroy a city, fully.

Comments: According to CNN HezbollAh has 150K rockets. If they fire even a quarter of those, Israel will be hosed! Why r they not doing that? I think most of what CNN is saying is BS. I just can't see them having this many rockets. Just storing them is a huge logistical challenge. And, Israel would never tolerate such a huge risk! |
