Comments: Prime example of what I’m talking about. Elections! In some countries, the system is corrupt and everyone knows it. Candidates are hand picked, money and power is behind them, competition is eliminated early on and decisions are made way before the election. The choice is usually between bad and worse. No, I’m not talking about Iran, this is the system in America. Kiss, dinner, lubricant and stick it! People like me used to stay up late to watch the election results thinking my vote matters. What a fool I was! One group cheers the results while the other side goes into deep depression! $ Billions spent during each election. Elections are year long advertising business. Between general elections and midterms, it will never truly stops. Debates are jock! There are never pushed hard to answer though questions. They agree on the format and ask questions that are predetermined. I need to relax! This is making me sad!!!
Comments: Faramarz, That was a great example. Justice/court system is another example. Elections are the prime example. Healthcare, education, … Because one talks about pain, suffering, injustice and such, doesn’t mean it has happened to them personally. It’s called empathy. One should feel the pain, not only theirs but everyone’s. |
