Comments: From the very beginning of the conflict in the Middle East, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan firmly stood by Palestine and condemned Israel's attacks on Palestine. His statements day after day cause fear among many. Erdogan again made similar statements, this time regarding Hamas fighters who are in Turkey. He warned the Israelis that they will pay the price if they decide to eliminate Hamas members on Turkish soil. “They do not know the Turks. They don’t know us… If they commit such a mistake, they should know that they will pay a very heavy price for it,” he said, as quoted by

Comments: Seyed Salman Samani, 42, is facing a deportation hearing under sanctions imposed a year ago against members of Iran’s hardline regime. The Canada Border Services Agency has asked the Immigration and Refugee Board to hold a hearing for Samani that could result in his removal. “Samani was referred for an admissibility hearing on Nov. 10, 2023,” said Anna Pape, the Refugee Board spokesperson. The Canadian government declined to say whether the case concerned the Seyed Salman Samani, 42, who is Iran’s deputy minister of interior.

Comments: It seems they already picked a Spanish coach to replace him.
Comments: Wow this is a surprise. His record was not terrible. This may be because of personality conflicts! Or the fact that he keeps going back to Portugal and does not stay with the team!? I do not know any recent bad result that may have triggered this.
Comments: Carlos Queiroz has been sacked as manager of the Qatar national team, a position he only took in February when he signed a four-year contract. The National understands that Queiroz was contacted by the Qatar Football Association last week, who told him that his contract would be terminated. The Portuguese coach, 70, flew to Doha on Monday, where the decision was confirmed face-to-face. He was in charge for 11 games, winning four, drawing three and losing four after replacing Felix Sanchez as manager. It means Qatar will have to appoint a new manager for the delayed 2023 Asian Cup which they are hosting and takes place January 12-February 10, 2024. "The Qatar Football Association has announced that Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz's tenure as head coach of the Qatar national team has ended amicably by mutual agreement between the two parties," the QFA said in a statement on Tuesday.
Comments: Do you guys know why CQ wants to leave Qatar? His results have been good no? This may just be a rumor, or that he has a better offer. If this is true, he would never pick perspolis over whatever other offer is that he may have. I just do not think this rumor is true. If by some miracle he ended up as the red's coach, I am not sure he would be as successful as he was as the TM coach. In TM, it makes sense to play a closed game since that team goes to the WC and plays against the best in the world. But having the reds play a conservative game against Arak does not make a lot of sense.
Comments: The same way they brought Branco or all the other million plus dollars coaches. They will find an embezzler in need of washing his money to sponsor them. “ Debsh” tea is in need of washing clean 3 billion dollars, rumors have it. And all the organs and higher ups are in it too. Marriage made in heaven!
Comments: I’m not sure how clubs in Iran make money! Every year one club or another gets punished for not paying the player/coach. Can they bring CQ? Can they actually effort him? I would like to see him back in Iran but in all reality, he might not want to coach a club.
Comments: PER disappointed the 60K fans, including many women, who came to celebrate a win. They had their chances but could not take advantage which is not good for a 'professional' team. A lot of fans blame GolMo and the management for this poor result and I have to agree with them. Especially on Golmo since he made a lot of bad decision the biggest one being getting rid of the best player inside Iran, Ramin Rezaian and gifting him to SEP who made it to the knock out stage because of him. The other bad decision was not keeping Al Kaseer and Abdi who were the players that took PER to the final of ACL 2 years ago. It's time for PER to make a change. GolMo has done more than enough for them in the last 5 years but I am afraid he can't add anymore. Rumors are Branko is interested in coming back to Iran and take over PER. And if not him maybe they can persuade CQ, if he is leaving QAT, to take over and make his Iranian fans happy ![]() |
