Comments: How to execute has been a big challenge for America. They want to do it just as kindly as possible. Why not use the old, “eye for an eye” method? Kill them the same exact way they killed their victim(s). Even better, give the victim’s family the option to do the execution themselves! Human beings are the worst kind of animals.

Comments: I personally am neutral on capital punishment simply because if I were in the position as the survivor of a family member who is the victim of a crime I am not sure if I can easily forgive the convicted criminal. Which is exactly why I think the Iranian system is the best in the world. Once the courts hand out their sentence it's up to the closest survivors of the victim to decide if they want to go through with an execution or not. So if you are anti-capital punishment you can forgive. There are a lot of people and organizations in Iran who go to the victim families and try to convince them to forgive the convict. You can not do that in the US no matter how you feel about capital punishment. Once a sentence has exhausted all the appeals only the governor(President in case of federal cases) can stop the execution.
Comments: Alternative to capital punishment is life in prison. Either one seems crazy and cruel. At least with life in prison, one might eventually prove his innocence. A fair system is the best way but where can one find it?
