The match will be held in Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium on Wednesday in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup knockout stage. The National Iranian football team defeated the UAE 2-1 in Group C of the AFC Asian Cup and advanced to the tournament's quarterfinals. Iran has bagged all the possible nine points from its first three games. Kim Jong-hyeok, who became a FIFA referee in 2009, has refereed in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023 qualifiers, and the 2023-24 AFC Champions League.

Mancini did a CQ and parked the bus after they scored and his players started grass rolling and the ref ended up adding 10 minutes to the 90 minutes and they got scored on in the last minute. Comments: "A silly PK or red card" This is my worry because our defense has lost its organization and gets caught playing out of position frequently. This can result in the silly fouls. 
Comments: Zinsky, I am with you on tomorrow's game. Of course on paper a lot of things should happen, but more often they don't. The last time we played Syria, we beat them but it was not easy. In this tournament, they played really well, and could pull a "surprise" win tomorrow. My biggest concern is to come into the game "flat", and have them run over us and score one or even two early goals. If they do, we will most likely never recover. An silly PK or red card could also kill us, or even a lucky shot from a distance. The best teams in the world defend against them very carefully. We should keep our confidence and "KNOW" that we will win and just go there and execute the plan.
