Comments: If I were the coach, I would not change the team and would hold Taremi and HS to bring in if/when we need them to give Qatar a different look and confuse them. But knowing GN, I think he will go with all the big names. So, Taremi and HS will be in the starting lineup. The main question then is how to do this without disrupting the good flow/chemistry that we had against Japan.

Comments: The semi-final match against Qatar is going to be a very hard one, make no mistake about it. Qatar is the defending champ and playing at home with all the advantages they can get. I read a lot from experts inside Iran that GN should not make any changes to a winning line up but I do not buy it and don't think it will happen. It's back to regular programming and I expect to see Hajisafi and Taremi back in the starting line up to replace Milad and Omid. I don't see TM playing the direct attacking football like the last match and instead go back to the slow build up from the back and keep the ball on the ground with penetrating runs in the middle with Azmoun-Taremi-JB combination plays. Comments: This Jordan tournament in Oct. 2023 seems to be a sign from football gods to make Iran the champs. In that tournament we played the hosts, Jordan, in the semis and won to play Qatar in the final. This time around we again play the hosts, Qatar, in the semis to setup a final with Jordan! Comments: Korea finally ran out of luck and there was no get out of jail card left for them in this cup. They used all their luck in the last 2 matches vs Saudi and Australia and this time had no energy left in the tank to make a comeback. It's remarkable that they had no shot on goal in this match. It's as if the players did not want to win for Klinsmann
