Which reminds me that I never welcomed the new members of lol club.
Last week we had a new lol, which some of you called him Gorbi. Welcome to the club. You are number 4,or 5 by my account ..
Yesterday we had another old timer posting under the handle.lol
Number 5 or 6. Although I’m confident he is posting under 3 other handles, same as lol #2, but also welcome.
I was flattered by the passes he made on me, sorry that is not my style.
Here at lol club, we welcome diversity. Members of degarbash community should feel comfortable posting, and if using lol handle gives them that comfort, it is fine with me. I hope the admins don’t mind.
I suppose they don’t, since his comments didn’t meet any objections.

محمد خزاعی رییس سازمان سینمایی در مراسم اختتامیه چهل و دومین جشنواره فیلم فجر دعای تحویل سال خواند آن هم با اشتباهات زیاد
اینکه رئیس سازمان سینمایی،دعای تحویل سال رو حتی از روی نوشته،غلط میخونه، فقط بیسوادی نیست که اپیدمی دولت رئیسیه‌‌.
هر کس در خانواده نیمه مذهبی بزرگ شده باشه یا خودش بعدها مذهبی شده باشه،بیشک این دعا رو حفظه.این شارلاتان، اگه در همین مدت که معاون وزیره،فقط موقع تحویل سال،تلویزیون رو روشن میکرد که پیامهای نوروزی خامنه ای و رئیسی رو گوش بکنه، این دعا صدها بار به گوشش خورده بود و مطمئنا امروز با این رسوایی مواجه نمی شد.

I agree with Zinsky. I think it will be pretty difficult not to get out of Asia. I think these team other than the top 5 will run into each other more frequently and take points away from each other. If we cannot take points from these teams on a consistent basis, I do not think we belong to the top 5 nor in the World Cup.

Now having said that, here is the list of teams that I think will make it to the World cup:

1. The merit group: Japan, Iran, Korea, and Australia

Then there is a group that will make it not meritoriously:

2. Saudi Arabia (because they have money), Qatar (because they have money), China (because they will make a lot of money for FIFA)

Then there is a second merit group, one or two of which will make it:

3. Syria, Jordan, Uzbekistan

If we can’t be in top 8 in Asia, we don’t belong in WC. I think the next two games should be walk in the park and we should use our B team to test new players.

Unlike most fans I don't think Iran's qualification to the 2026 WC is a walk in the park. If you think it's a piece of pie for any team to qualify in Asia then think again. Asia has 8-9 spots.

On top of the list we have the usual suspects

Australia - Iran- Japan - Korea - Saudi(5)

Then we got

Iraq - Jordan - Qatar - Uzbekistan(4)

Add

Syria - UAE - Tajikistan - Oman - Thailand - Vietnam(6)

So any slip up by the top 9 team will cost one of them dearly. And it could be more than one to get in trouble based on the recent results [smile]

We are still missing Farid's vote, but I doubt anything major will change with his vote. Shahryar and LOL-2 made the difference between the third and the fourth rank less drastic.

Still, Iran is the clear best team. I would love to do this survey between non-Iranian, non-Arab fans.
