Comments: Beach football highlights was exciting. Iran was behind 3-0. They came back with two goals before falling behind 5-2. It was 5-6 for Iran with 2 sec. left and Spain scores to send it to penalties. Fun to watch.
Comments: Stock market is about hype & new shiny thing. It doesn't have to make sense. There are stocks that are flavor of the month/year. Most small investors get sucked in too late. Depending on age and pain tolerance, you can decide when to jump on the wagon.

Comments: Agha Zinsky, we’re in the supermicro space as well, I really don’t understand how they could be worth $1K a share. Their P/E is something like 79. We (Broadcom) have a P/E of 38. Their EPS is $5.00 ours is like $11.00. I am not sure what makes them so attractive or what technology they have that is unique to them???
Comments: The 2026 World Cup, on the other hand, will provide significantly less early drama. Many contenders will already be secure in the round of 32 after two group matches — and in some cases, after one. The tournament will spend 72 games over almost three weeks to eliminate only 16 teams.
Comments: The total number of games played will increase from 64 to 104, and the number of games played by teams reaching the final four will increase from seven to eight. The tournament will last 39 days, an increase from 32 days of the 2014 and 2018 editions.[7][8] Each team will still play three group matches.[9][10] The final matchday at club level for players named in the final squads is May 24, 2026; clubs have to release their players by May 25, with exceptions granted to players participating in continental club competition finals up until May 30. The 56 days of the combined rest, release, and tournament periods remains identical to the 2010, 2014 and 2018 tournaments.[6]
Comments: Yeah! The new format for WC is going to be strange but it’s what it is. I thought the 32 teams will play in a group stage again but I guess I’m wrong. How many games to reach the final?
Comments: I am not sure if you are aware of it but the mess we saw at the Asian Cup will be repeated in the next WC. The 48 teams will be grouped in 12 groups of 4 team each. The first and second place teams of each group will qualifying for the knockout stage. In addition the best 8 third place finishers will also qualify. That is a total of 32 teams will be in the knockout stage. So if a top team stumbles in the group stage you will see the same hanky panky that happened in the Asian Cup to try and avoid playing against them in the knockout stage. If Iran qualifies I think qualifying for the knockout stage has a very high probability but it won't be as valuable in the past tournaments.
