Comments: Very sad news coming out of Gaza. I cannot believe in this day and age this is happening and the world is just watching. Is US still sending weapons to israel?
Comments: A shame. I only saw the last few minutes after I saw Maghsoud's message. In those final minutes, Texas was the better team.
Comments: That was real close. Exciting game.
Comments: Agha DM, I hope u r watching the long horns. It is a real exciting game.
Comments: This year started with very sad news. RIP.

Comments: Reza, Maghsoud, DM, I think Arizona might win this thing. They look very strong.

Comments: Maghsoud jAn, I am doing the same. News is unbearable.
![]() One last sad news. Attack to a Moscow concert leaves over 130 people dead. ISIS claims responsibility. Putin says Ukraine was involved. My question is who is supporting these groups. Both USA and Russia say they r evil. Iran is mortal enemies with them. Who is funding their operation then? Is it the arab countries?
Comments: Agha Faramarz, the news is so bad these days, I have stopped watching it now all together. It is very upsetting. I went to some demonstrations here but really have no hope. This is not a democracy. The jewish lobby does what it wants. And, everyone knows it. I hide behind march madness these days to protect myself from all the horrid news. The crimes that this country is committing in the name of its people is unimaginable.
Comments: Even worse news: Famine has already started in Palestine. 25 children have already died from hunger. This is predicted to accelerate imminently. USA is making some sham effort not to stop the famine but just to fool voters to vote for Biden. The alternative is the narcissist who is responsible for this mess with the "peace" that they supposedly established four years ago. The simple result is that two million innocent people are at imminent risk of famine at the mercy of the Hitler of the time. Shame on those who supported this.
Comments: Some disturbing news today. ![]() Happiest country in the world is Finland. The rest of the top 5 are also in Scandinavia. The richest country in the world ranks at the whopping 23rd. What is even more disturbing is that USA is one of the few countries where the youth is less happier than the older population. Grim outlook, IMO.
Comments: Zinsky jAn, thank you for the update. Enjoy the ChAghAle BAdoom. I miss it so much! What they sell here is a shameful representation. I was recently in Baku and man how different simple things are. We all have forgotten how real basil tastes like. What we see here looks like the real thing but tastes so much worse. Please keep posting your updates. If bandwidth allows send pictures.
Comments: آقا زینسکی جای ما رو هم خالی کن. اخ چاقاله بادوم. خوش بگذره عزیز. به اندازه همه ما خوش بگذرون.
Comments: Thank you Zinsky. Wow $15 for chaghale badoom is very high even for us here!! Great to hear about the roosari. Many videos that showed women without a head cover were dismissed by shahollahies as government propeganda. Did you get the VPN there or had you set it up here before you go?
Comments: Where can I start? It’s good to be home. Newruz is the best time to come here. Weather has been nice and traffic is non existent. Head covering has become optional, as far as I can tell. The only enforcement is the ticket people get if they get caught without it in the car. One would get a warning the first time and a ticket (apparently they deduct it directly from one’s account) if a picture is taken from the traffic cameras. I was worried about Ramadan and how it is enforced. Most restaurants are closed during the day but the system figured a way to make money out of that as well. Special permits are given (for a fee, of course) to restaurants that can cover the windows or if they are hidden underground sections. The best part is that if you leave the city and drive on the highway, the restaurants are all open during the day. I got a SIM card and a VPN to use the network and access this site which was blocked!!! Prices are unbelievable. I’m not sure how people survive but they do. Cash transactions are almost impossible. Even the guy selling Chaghale Badoom on the side of the road only accepts card. A kilo about $15! Couldn’t make it to stadium for Iran’s game. No one wanted to go with me and going alone didn’t seem fun! Watched it with about 20 family members from 10 to 88 years old.
Comments: Agha Zinsky, eagerly waiting. I am heading home in May. Can't wait.
Comments: Zinskyyyyy, ...... ![]() JAy mA ro khAli kardi? Please send pictures. You can email them and I will post, if you want.
Comments: Got connected true VPN, finally. It’s amazing to be home. I’ll write more about my trip soon. Go Iran…
