Comments: I think there is a distinction to be made between those who live a normal life in the big cities and the thugs that they bring in (may of them from the old soviet union) to occupy the settlements and drive the occupation policies of the Israeli government at any cost. Majid, although dangerous, I kind of wish that you had a chance to go to the settlements and tell us how those were.
Comments: As I said I have no idea about the questions you are asking because I was mostly occupied with work and have no clue about the future not just in Israel but the whole world. Yes there are concerns but Life in general in big cities in both Jewish or Muslim majority populations were normal with shops and restaurants open. Also lots of projects with China is going. Iran also looked normal as if there are no geopolitical issues.
Comments: Thanks Majid for your insightful observation of Israel. But my sources tell me that Israel is in shambles and the society is falling apart. People cannot carry on with their normal lives because they are constantly afraid that Iran will hit them. Do they feel that they have lost the war in Gaza to Iran? Are they afraid that Israel will not exist the way we know? Do you think a jewish state will still exist in a near future?

Comments: Faramarz. Just like what you hear in the news versus seeing things with your eyes when you visit places I am not into everyday politics. But I tell you what I learned. There are many Muslim arabs living in Israel as Israeli citizens. Israelis are not just Jewish. The demonstrations were mainly against Netenyahu and included both Muslims and Jewish people. In general people are supporting the war because of what happened in October 7th, but most are against Netenyahu for not doing enough to release the hostages and also intentionally acting at a slow pace and prolonging the war. But everyone in Israel wants two state solution. Both Jewish and some Muslims. Both also want Hamas out. The Muslims believe Hamas deprives and are not honest to own people like iran government is to our people. They prefer Palestinian Authorities ruling Palestinians. There are also many Palestinians who are in favor of one state. Jewish and Muslims living together peacefully as they do now in Israel. They recognized that two states will always mean tension and will mean what we see every other year between IDF and Palestinians. The biggest problem in Israel which moderate Israelis also see it as a big problem is the extremist settlers. There are fights on the street between these settlers against ordinary people protesting. They also creat so much troubles for Palestinians in the settlements. Oh. One more thing about Netenyahu. Everybody hates him. But there is also some hesitation. There are very powerful individuals in Israel tougher and more hardliner than Netanyahu, they don't even believe in Palestine to exist. One state or two state. People are careful not to ask for something worse. Because those ultra hardliners are also against Netenyahu and they have the support of these extremist settlers.

Comments: سیزده بدر ما همیشه داستان طولانی میشه. ما حدود ۵۰ نفر در ۱۲ خوانواده هستیم که از موقعی که بچه هامون کوچک بودن با هم سیزده بدر میرویم. وقتی بچه ها کوچیک بودن بهترین قسمت روز وسطی بود. بچه ها عشق میکردن و بزرگترها هم به حال آنها حالشو میبردن. الان بچه ها بزرگ شدن و دیگه وسطی نمیخواهند بازی بکنند. والی بزرگترها ول نمیکنند. خودمون ما مجبور شدیم وسطی بازی کنیم. چند تا ۵۰, ۶۰, ۷۰ ساله با هم وسطی بازی کنن و سعی کنند سر هم کلاه بگذارند. همیشه این داستانی میشه.

Comments: Yes Jahrom is going to be still warm in September but Azerbaijan will have cooled off nicely with lots of delicious fruits and vegetables. If you do have the flexibility Maghsoud, I would go in September.
Comments: September is still relatively warm in Tehran but more south you go, the warmer it gets. It’s already around 70 degrees in Tehran. I recommend September for fruits as well.

Comments: Maghsoud jAn, I think this will depend on where you want to go and what you want to do. I think you had said that you want to go to Tabriz. May in Tabriz will be okay. Of course September will have all sorts of fresh fruits like grapes in season. So, September is not bad either. For local fruits, September is better.
Comments: Guys, I am planning to go to Iran in May. But my relatives are advising against that. They say it will be warm. They are recommending September. I have refundable tickets and can easily change my ticket. But before that I thought I ask to see what you guys think? Is May really hot in Iran?
