They got a notice today that their flight is canceled. But then Lufthansa booked them on Turkish airlines. So, Lufthansa definitely is working with Turkish to accommodate customers.

VPN works like a charm… The only issue is that you need to reconnect to VPN regularly. It gets disconnected by itself. Also, the adds by VPN companies are pretty funny…

Comments: Iran seems to be coordinating with the rest of the world what might they do! It’s either one of those BS predictions like Iran is two weeks away from nuke (was told 5 years ago) or they are just trying to safe face internally! Either way, it’s bad! An individual who was briefed by Iranian regime leadership stated "no final decision has been made" as attack plans have been discussed. Iran is expected to attack Israel between the next 24 to 48 hours, with an exclusive Thursday report by the Wall Street Journal saying that the Jewish state is "preparing for a direct attack" on the north or south of the country. The report cited an individual who was briefed by Iranian regime leadership stated, "no final decision has been made" as attack plans have been discussed.
Comments: While back home, I tried to interact with wide variety of people, from family to taxi drivers and shop owners. I didn’t find one person who was “pro” IRI. Everyone is sick and tired of the system. Everyone is hoping for a change. On the other hand, I didn’t hear anyone talking about a group or a leader who can help this change. When talking about the West, they mainly laughed. No one believes the West would help them. Most believe West is in bed with the regime. When asked about the East (Russia and China), most got mad. They realized the East is taking advantage of the situation and screwing Iran. Just like most of us, they don’t know who/how or when any changes will occur but everyone is hoping it will sooner rather than later. They are doing what they can. Ladies are fighting back with what they wear or not wear in their case. Men are supporting the ladies and doing what they can to protect ladies in case of government intervention. Everyone is worried about the cost of living. Prices are adjusted based on $ value. It’s been going higher and higher with no reason to stop. They blame the system and the sanctions. They believe sanctions are helping the big guys and hurting the average citizen. I agree.

Comments: Hello friends from Tehran. I finally set up my internet and VPN. I did declare my phones at the airport which took a little time but it was okay. I have not gotten my phones working yet. That is for today. I had some trouble with the VPN but it looks like it sorted itself out. This page is not accessible without the VPN. |
