It was actually the final, Iran will easily beat Thailand and bring the cup home, god willing ![]() UZB played very rough and did a BAH by floor rolling whenever they got tired, sometimes 2 at a time!!! AFG will play KGZ for the final WC spot on Saturday, if they win we will have 3 Persian speaking countries in a world cup of any sort for the very first time. BTW, they have an Iranian manager. Persian Empire is coming back at least in futsal ![]()
Comments: Sorry. I will not fall for this one.
Comments: I am not sure how long china will stay away from military confrontations. They r making great strides. They already can build and aircraft carrier in about two years against US' ten years. This is a race that china might win.
Comments: Agha Realist if Nato attacks iran what is russia going to do? I think u r talking WWIII!

Comments: As expected and predicted, since the regulars here stopped interacting with the other side, they are showing up in huge numbers to create issues.
Comments: 😆😆😆😆😆 As Biden says: Don't Almost like creating Frankenstein My suggestion is let it fade on its own
Comments: About Israel and where this is heading? After Rafah, Northern Lebanon, if not all of the Lebanon, is on the menu. And then the big meal. Islamic Republic of Iran. That war will not be an Israel - Iran war. Plan is to form a NATO coalition to deal with Iran. Israel has agreements with NATO members in the areas of military assistance and Article 5. Russia will also end up with a good chunk of eastern Ukraine. China is smart. All they are after is $$$. They don't want no military confrontation as they know they cannot par with Russia or USA and they don't have military experience. It is one thing to have weapons but the main thing is military Prowess which both Russia and USA possess. As long as US pays major loyalties to China, they can do business in Taiwan. Did you know that with all these hop-a, US does not recognize Taiwan as a sovereign country? Isn't that interesting?

Comments: Why isn’t the news reporting much on the war in Darfur, Sudan? "The world has forgotten about us it seems. I’m a Darfurian Sudanese living in NYC currently. As I was waiting in line by W 28th St today for “a beautiful brgr” as the sign said, I scrolled through my phone on Facebook and one of the first posts I came across was of a helpless woman laying dead in her kitchen floor shot in the head by Janjaweed. The post didn’t say much, I stared at her and could feel tears forming in my eyes. I looked around me and wondered how is it possible that I get to be here in NYC while this woman who might be close in age to me shot and killed by the same militia, men who have been hunting my people for the past fifteen years. I wondered why is this world so cruel, what did this woman do to deserve this fate? Her body laying next to her pots and pans placed on top of fire made from wood, she was probably poor. I left the resturant couldn’t bare to get a sandwich and walked to the station crying till I got home. Why did she die? It’s so unfair that we are still getting killed by Janjaweed, by Arabs of Sudan. It’s so unfair we are still getting ethnically cleansed, replaced, exterminated. I don’t know why the news doesn’t cover Darfur anymore, but please don’t think because the genocide somehow ended. We are still dying.
Comments: Media coverage of the Darfur conflict in Sudanese and non-Sudanese mediaThe need for information during any time of conflict or crisis is crucial not only for those directly affected but also for those involved and engaged from outside the affected area. The need for information of the Darfur conflict is no exception. Indeed, Darfur is often cited as one of the world’s worst humanitarian disasters but it is also one of the most complex. The media coverage of the Darfur crisis was limited and the non-Sudanese (Arab) media does not give any significant priority to the crisis; rather they cover the crisis as they would cover any other crisis in the African region. Meanwhile, the Sudanese media provide more substantial coverage of the Darfur crisis than their non-Sudanese peers. This content analysis demonstrates that the crisis is first and foremost framed in a political dimension with the crisis framed as a political struggle between local Sudanese actors, and a struggle between the Sudanese government and the international community. This trend is underlined by the scope applied by the media in that they frequently focus on the international implications of the crisis as opposed to viewing the crisis with a local Sudanese context.
Comments: The lack of coverage of the genocide in Darfur is puzzling though. This is actually pretty scary!
Comments: Realist now you are scaring me and it sounds like the dooms day that movies predict. I know about the genocide in Darfur. But I hope this is not systematic as you say. That would be horrid. If the goal is to reduce population of the world, why kill people only in certain regions rather than birth control globally. I guess the former is easier. But oh man! Killing at will in certain regions seems so cruel.
Comments: Maghsoud jAn I am sure you know this by now. But as you have seen already, the pest tend to show up when there is high traffic on our site. The goal is to bully and smear people so they stop posting. Please ignore and do not pay attention. High traffic here is the best response.
Comments: Faramarz. What we see is the tip of the iceberg. It is almost like there is a systemic thing happening to reduce population in the world. What we don't know about is what is happening in Africa. Total genocide there without any coverage on TV. Over 10 million people displaced. https://www.economist.com/middle-east-and-africa/2023/10/05/genocide-returns-to-darfur
Comments: I have never heard of that before! I’m reading her school’s brochure! If that is a thing, I would never graduate!!! This is really getting out of hand. |
