Comments: Immigrants, including Iranians, feel a big responsibility to prove themselves to the people of the adopted countries and even more to each other. They feel their success or failure represents the capabilities of the homeland. They also feel the desire to prove to others immigrants and the ones who decided to stay or couldn’t leave that their decision was worth all the pain and suffering. Leaving one’s country is already a painful experience. Adding the burden to succeed beyond an average citizen makes it even harder. Most Iranians have done very well in America or any other country they ended up calling home but the competition, comparison and the conflict between them is causing them to divide rather than unite.

Comments: مرحله دوم انتخابات مجلس روز پنجشنبه انجام خواهد شد. انتخاباتی که از سه سال پیش معلوم بود مهندسی خواهد شد اما شاید به ذهن آنها که طرحی مهندسی شده برای انتخابات مجلس تهیه کرده بودند نمی رسید که کار به اینجا بکشد که کشیده است. فکر نمی کردند با این وسعت مردم پای صندوق های رای نیآیند و نتیجه مهندسی انتخابات بیفتد دست طیف هایی از حکومت که هنوز روی صندلی های مجلس ننشسته برای هم و از جمله برای سر رئیس کنونی مجلس شمشیر تیز کنند. آیا آنها که نقشه مهندسی برگزار کردن انتخابات را به اجرا گذاشتند، با دیدن سینه سپر کردن برندگان مرحله اول انتخابات در جستجوی چاره ای برای مرحله دوم افتاده اند تا اکثریت ۹۰ کرسی باقی مانده مجلس دست آنهائی نیفتد که برای فتح هیات رئیسه مجلس آینده نقشه دارند؟ و یا، مرحله دوم انتخابات را به امان خدا رها کرده و به یکدیگر گفته اند "انشا الله گربه است"! مردم و حکومت آنگونه که مشهود است، هر دو قید انتخابات پنجشنبه و نتیجه آن را زده اند و به همین دلیل مجلس آینده بدست حجتیه که تحت نام جبهه پایداری خود را سازماندهی کرده خواهد افتاد و نتیجه همان خواهد شد که آیت الله خمینی در نامه به شورای نگهبان نسبت به آن هشدار داده بود. او در نامه خود نوشت: اگر حکومت بیفتد به دست اینها (حجتبه) همه چیزتان (انقلاب) به باد خواهد رفت. آیا مجلس آینده خواهد توانست همه چیز را به باد بدهد؟ این کار آسان نیست زیرا قدرت سپاه در برابرشان قرار دارد و به همین دلیل در همان ماههای اول تشکیل مجلس دوازدهم، شاهد تلاش هائی خواهیم بود که هدف از آن خنثی کردن دخالت های سیاسی سپاه در امور کشور است و وقت و انرژی را دیگر صرف اصلاح طلبانی که مثل مرغ پرکنده شده اند نخواهند کرد. رقیب اصلی اصلاح طلبان نیستند بلکه فرماندهان قدیمی سپاه هستند. شاید امید به نسل بعد از جنگ در سپاه بسته باشند، گرچه بعید است که این نسل هم زیر بار حجتیه بروند. ای بسا عدالتخواهی و به روز بودن و آگاهی آنها به سمت و سوی جهان بیش از نسل اول هم باشد و به همین نسبت هم جسورتر از فرماندهان نسل اول برای دخالت در سیاست و حکومت |
