Nothing has worked n in the latter cases has helped the government to find ingenious ways to go around the obstacles n that has resulted in helping IRI to team up with other non western aligned powers
Comments: As they say lesson learned- you can’t replace this government by force such as a Coup or with foreign interference such as military action or economical sanctions. None of those tricks has panned out n in fact in some cases backfired. By backfire I mean it has been used as an excuse by the IRI to rile up support internally n internationally
Comments: During the '79 revolution, Shah's supporters stayed home. Too fancy for the streets or did not think they should care. But this government's supporters stay in "Sahneh" and whenever they are needed, they show up.

If you talk to shahoolAhies, they consider them either 1) not Iranian/arabzAdeh/not asil Iranian, or 2) They are Iranian but are religious/khorAfAti, and therefore, their opinion does not matter. Instead of working on that group, they just ignore it as if they do not exist.
