The disconnect between Main Street economy and what is reported by government is scary. This has nothing to do with R vs D. Politicians use the numbers to their advantage when needed.
They talk about unemployment rates, inflation, growth and such based on formulas that have nothing to do with reality.
Unemployment, based on how they calculate it, is the number of people actively looking for a job but can’t get one! If I’m looking for a minimum wage job, how do they know if I’m looking?
Inflation of 2, 3, 5%! Are you kidding me? We should be talking about 15-20% minimum.
Stock market gains!!! How is that helping the lower middle class? They keep talking about gains in people’s 401K! Half of the population can’t afford to buy decent food! You think they are contributing to 401K!
The system is designed for the top 10-15% of the population. The rest are left to themselves.

Trump & republicans keep trying to connect Harris to Biden.
1st of all, their record is not that bad! They can definitely defend it but they usually don’t! That is a problem with Democrats. Republicans can go on and on about what they have done even if everyone knows it’s just BS!
2nd, since when the VP does anything different than the president?
Was it the expectation that Harris would fight Biden on any policies?
