Comments: Sorry mates no football for me all this month. shifts are brutal. Glad tm won. Highlights looked good except for the field. But even the coach was not happy. So, probably not a game worth watching anyway.
Comments: It’s interesting to find out what kind of deal is being negotiated. It’s obviously not about regime change. It has never been about that.
Comments: Next up is Kyrgyzstan at home next Tuesday. Iran , Japan and Korea are clearly the class of this campaign and should qualify easily barring a complete collapse!
Comments: You heard this before but yet another match day and another win for TM. It was a tale of 2 different halves. First half Iran dominated and scored 3 goals. NK looked utterly impotent in this half and it looked like Iran will score a few more in the second half. Second half was very different. An early defensive mistake resulting in a red card and 2 fluke goals(one OG) by NK in span of 3 minutes turned the match around. It was NK that was dominating Iran now. But Iran hung in there and won the match. TM staff had done a good job analyzing NK and they penetrated their defense by attacking the middle of their line. All 3 goals scored on the ground and with no crosses. That was good to see. I think the players as usual got too relaxed and thought they have won the game. As GN said Iran was lucky to win and the team learned a pretty good lesson. Khiabani had the best line that summarized the match at the end ![]() مردیم ولی بردیم
Comments: You've heard it here first. A deal with Iran is coming. All those who voted for Trump to upend IRI will have to reevaluate.
Comments: in the wake of Mr. Trump’s election last week, Iran has been openly debating whether it can now reach a new and more lasting deal with the United States. Many members of President Masoud Pezeshkian’s new government favor negotiating, arguing that Mr. Trump likes to make deals and that there may be an opportunity to get the sanctions lifted. Many in the conservative faction in Iran oppose engagement with Mr. Trump, and any negotiations — or deal — must be approved by the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Mr. Trump has been an avid supporter of Israel, which has been waging war on the Iranian-backed militias Hamas and Hezbollah since the Oct. 7 attack last year. On Thursday, in a post on X, Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, said: “Differences can be resolved through cooperation and dialogue. We agreed to proceed with courage and good will. Iran has never left the negotiation table on its peaceful nuclear program.” Mr. Araghchi made the comments following a meeting in Tehran with Rafael Grossi, the head of U.N.’s atomic watchdog

Comments: Trump's cabinet choices so far is inline with his America First policy. His inclusion of several "White Nationalist" activists in his team is not going well with the "establishment" as expected but he is not going to diverge from his agenda to please them. Matt Gatez Gaetz was one of just 21 Republicans who voted against the Antisemitism Awareness Act in May, saying that he could not support a definition of antisemitism that labeled claims of “Jews killing Jesus” as antisemitic. “The Gospel itself would meet the definition of antisemitism under the terms of this bill,” he wrote. In 2021, he called the Anti-Defamation League “racist” after the group criticized former Fox News host Tucker Carlson. Tulsi Gabbard In 2019, she defended Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) from charges of antisemitism after the House voted to condemn Omar for Jew-hating bigotry. In 2018, she criticized Israel for using live ammunition at the Gaza border fence, but she has come out as a strong supporter of the Jewish state since the Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. As she seeks to head the U.S. intelligence community, the former Hawaiian congresswoman is also likely to face scrutiny from lawmakers about her 2017 meeting with Syrian dictator Bashar Assad and her views on Russia, which she said had “legitimate security concerns” in Ukraine shortly after the start of Russia’s February 2022 invasion. Elon Musk Musk met with Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations on Monday, the New York Times reported on Thursday. Citing two Iranian officials, the newspaper reported that the meeting was a discussion of how to defuse tensions between Iran and the United States. Trump himself pardoned Mahmoud Reza Banki in 2021 after he spent 2 years in jail. He was recently appointed as the CFO of X by Musk.
