Comments: The new Department of Government Efficiency led by Elon Musk now has access to a federal system responsible for $6 trillion in annual payments. Democratic lawmakers and advocacy organizations worry how that could impact Social Security, Medicare and other government benefits Americans rely on. In a new letter to Congress, the Treasury Department said Social Security and Medicare payments have not been delayed or re-routed, while Musk's team has "read only" access.
Comments: It is much worse. Most DOGE employees are 19-20 year olds who have gained full access to top secrete documents including SSN. These people have no government work experience n many have no prior work experience at all. Imagine a 19-year old going through FBI records n deciding on the faith of the bureau or the individual cases. These people will be like the young shah. They will do whatever they have been told n will have no backbone to use judgement or conscience.
Comments: On the national front: Musk has access to 11 departments, including the FBI! Would be funny if he tried to dismantle the FBI!
Comments: "President made this decision with a humanitarian heart" What a bunch of bullshit. I cannot believe that she believes this shit that she is hurling out. So, she must have the morals of a rock.

Comments: U.S. under Trump is like the high speed police chase. Half the people watching in horror thinking what kind of a crazy person would do that. He call kill people. The other half are rooting for him to get away. No matter what, most people are watching it anyway! Hard to look away.
Comments: No part time hedge fund manager. Born n raised in Switzerland took khoms from millions of his followers in Africa, Asia and ME and invested in a private development fund (whatever fuck that means). His mom was a British aristocrat n daddy was from Iran, a womanizer fuck that had to divorce his wife to be with his newly mysterious. Corruption glore - tRump would love him n his daddy.

Comments: Zinsky do you know what they call Tesla in Germany? Switzacar 🤣🤣🤣
Comments: Slowly but surely consumers are going against bullies! Shares of electric vehicle pioneer Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) fell 3.6% in the afternoon session after Bloomberg reported that the company's sales (January 2025) fell almost 60% in Germany, compounding its woes in Europe, days after reports revealed similar weaknesses in Sweden and Norway. Data from the German Federal Motor Transport Authority revealed Tesla registered only 1,277 new cars in January 2025, hitting their lowest level since mid-2021, signaling weakening demand. Furthermore, the data indicated a similar decline in France and the UK. On top of that, JP Morgan flagged Tesla as one of the stocks "most at risk" from trade tensions and tariff disputes. Analyst Lakos-Bujas added, "...we expect sudden bouts of volatility followed by recovery ... with high stock dispersion to be an ongoing feature for markets in 2025."
Comments: So, here is the solution that we have in the world of diagnostics to this imperfect platform: 1. If something comes out to be sensitive by this platform, we allow the medications continue but also 2. run an orthogonal diagnostic method (usually growth-based assays) in parallel which take longer but do not suffer from the false negatives as much. If the result comes out to be resistant, we change the medication 3. closely observe the patient to see if s/he is getting better. If not, regardless of diagnostics, we change the medication 4. If a drug turns out to be frequently ineffective, we just do not prescribe it period. This avoids all the diagnostic uncertainties. In politics, #1 translates into: If someone is doing something that is not specifically outlawed in the constitution, you temporarily allow it to move forward but on a probation to see what happens. #2 translates into: have an independent body that develops alternative approaches to the problem that the person is supposedly trying to fix. May be those who wrote the constitution meant for this body to be the congress, but clearly this is not working. They even specifically said that the three branches need to be independent. But trump has take the other two branches hostage or grateful to him. This is a clear violation of the constitution which no one seems to care about, even the democrats. This problem we do not have in diagnostics. If a test does not work, we just chuck it! #3 translates into an independent body to closely observe the government and if the patient (the nation) is not getting better, to quickly remove the platform (the president) and put an alternative in his place. Trump has shown that doing this once every four years is far too in frequent. #4 translates into, if you see someone is repeatedly failing in fixing problems and worse yet adds new ones, you simply remove that person, even in midterm. Here people like to cite the impeachment process and we have all seen how impotent that process is. So, not much in the system's QC is working as it was intended yet administration after administration and term after term of the congress they pretend everything is fine and try to work within the same framework which results in people getting screwed over time and time again.
Comments: That is the problem with any law. Unless someone thinks about absolutely everything, someone like Trump will show up and challenge it. He has been doing this for 60+ years. He knows he can get away with murder 80-90% of the time. The other 10-20%, he can buy himself out of trouble. He brags about it. This is the mentality that nearly 50% of the population admires! They believe it makes him smart.
