Everyone hates the insurance companies. They are the worse. I’m not for killing anyone for any reason but certain people deserve to be put in jail for what they do to others. They are playing with people’s lives for more profit.
Why do we need insurance companies is another question for another time.

The person of interest arrested in Altoona, Pa., in the search for the individual who killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson has been identified as 26-year-old Luigi Mangione.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams said at a press conference Monday that “He matches the description of the identification we've been looking for” and that he is “in possession of several items that we believe will connect him to this incident.”
NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said "The suspect was in a McDonald's and was recognized by an employee who then called local police.
"Responding officers questioned the suspect, who was acting suspiciously and was carrying multiple fraudulent IDs, as well as a U.S. passport. Upon further investigation, officers recovered a firearm on his person as well as a suppressor, both consistent with the weapon used in the murder," she added.
"They also recovered clothing, including a mask consistent with those worn by our wanted individual. Also recovered was a fraudulent new Jersey ID matching the ID our suspect used to check into his New York City hostel before the shooting incident," Tisch said. "Additionally, officers recovered a handwritten document that speaks to both his motivation and mindset."
NYPD detectives are now heading to Pennsylvania to interview Mangione further.
NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said Mangione has no prior arrest history in New York.
He was born and raised in Maryland and has ties to San Francisco, California, with his last known address in Honolulu, Hawaii, according to Kenny.
Speaking about the manifesto that reportedly was found on Mangione in Altoona, Kenny said "We don't think that there's any specific threats to other people mentioned in that document, but it does seem that he has some, some ill will toward corporate America."
"He's going to be facing gun charges there. And at some point, we'll work out through extradition to bring him back to New York to face charges here, working with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office," Kenny continued.
Kenny also said Mangione "was in possession of a ghost gun that had the capability of firing a nine millimeter round and a suppressor."
The Altoona Police Department said in its own statement that its officers were "dispatched to a McDonald’s restaurant for reports of a male matching the description of the United Healthcare CEO murder suspect.
"At this time, the Altoona Police Department is cooperating with local, state, and federal agencies," it also said.

This is amazing!
The masked killer who targeted UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on the streets of New York City on Wednesday is, after more than 48 hours, still on the run.
They don’t even know who he is despite finding stuff that had his fingerprints on it. They have a partial picture of him but still no luck!

Earlier today, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had allegedly agreed to transfer power “peacefully” and then left Syria.

Prior to that, Reuters reported that Assad could have died in a plane crash because his plane was flying a strange route and then disappeared from the radar.

Well, history draws a pretty good trend for the outcome of western installation of change:

1. Hitler
2. ShAh the first episode (taking away Reza shAh)
3. ShAh the second episode (vs Mossadegh)
4. ShAh the third episode (taking him away)
5. Bin LAden
6. ISIS
7. This new Syrian group

In 1-6 the outcomes have been:

1. neither people benefited from the change (with the exception of a 30 year during Shah's time),
2. nor did the outcome turn out to be so hot for the west,
3. But it has always been good for the military complex with continuous wars.

Imagine all the wars that this is going to bring for a long time.

1. Syria-Israel for the even more taken land
2. Syria-Turkey for the annexed land
3. All the related but as yet unclear wars that will come as a result of this.

Syrian situation is very similar to Iran’s revolution. International community decided a change was necessary. They removed the dictator with an Islamic group which they believe will behave as they want. I’m not sure how it will unfold but people are not going to benefit.

The video that Maghsoud posted is where we are right now. Bidding for Israel. Next on the agenda though will be NATO. I think Trump will destroy it which I actually agree with.

The group leading the rebels is classified as a terrorist group by the Brits. Their parliament is now reconsidering that classification. [rofl] The group has gone through extensive psychotherapy and is no longer terrorizing. [biggrin]

Did Iran have a saying in this?

No, right now the whole world is goozpeech [wink]

Here is Jolani’s message to Islamic Republic, If I was Iran, I would just send our F-14s and bomb these ISIS agents. We still have resistance forces there. Russia backstabbed us again for their benefits.

“This new triumph, my brothers, marks a new chapter in the history of the region, a history fraught with dangers (that left) Syria as a playground for Iranian ambitions, spreading sectarianism, stirring corruption,”

Singling Iran out appears to be a message to Tehran’s theocracy – that their meddling is over, their easy land access to their mega proxy Hezbollah in Lebanon is over, their support for Syrian Hezbollah is over, and gone too is all their gold and billions of dollars and the home they once had for Iran’s weapons stockpiles.

Yes, the presidents are not part of the international plans. They just follow the agenda. These types of policies are not designed for one president or another. They are long term plans that require them to follow.
There are designed to make it look like they have a say but they don’t.

I am not sure this was posted here, but this Piers Morgan episode gets almost 4 million hits in less than a day.

It explains all the events that we have been seeing in the past few decades including the last two weeks. And the choice of the president or the party doesn't matter.

I’m not sure if Iran had a say in all this. They are having massive cash flow problems. The best they could ask for was some money and possibly assurances to delay any direct conflict in near future.
Russia also has internal issues and can’t afford fighting another war for now.
I was watching Syrians celebrating in the streets. It reminded me of Iranians 45+ years ago. Once again, another Islamic government taking over. Many promises but at the end it will not be pretty.
ISIS, Taliban and Al Qaeda are very much alike. They have not fought against Israel. They won’t be friends of Iran either.
Syria’s future is uncertain and won’t be a good one. Iran is also going to be pressured more. We can only hope but things are not looking good.
Average person living in Middle East is always the loser in these games.

And part of the deal seems to have been for Israel to take a piece of Syria. Same deal for Turkey. The kurdish population in Syria are among the betrayed by the superpower supporting them (USA in this case). Turkey will annex that region.

Really curious to know what Iran has accepted to take. It may be a deal like Iraq where the new islamic government will be aligned with IRI.
