I agree. Ukraine's biggest weakness is its leader. He is naive and does not have any balls. What he needs to realize is that Trump is on thin ice with all the promises he has made, the artificial build up that he has made of himself, and all the different fronts he is stretched at because of all the special interests that made his win possible. A stiff and noncompliant Zelensky would not have the effect that he fears it will have. United States will give Russia the go ahead to do what? Russia has already taken the parts it wanted. Zelensky has no prayer of pushing Russia back an inch, even with USA's help. Ukraine will not lose any more than it already has with a defiant Zelensky. But he is weak and his position is also hugely compromised because sooner or later he has to face his nation and admit that he has lost the territory to Russia. There is a small upside in that the useless Europe might actually step up and help Zelesnky. 5% chance. Europeans are as lame as the democrats.
