If China takes over the top economic spot, I do not thin USA will be able to get it back. I also thin that we will see and incrementally forceful China on the world political stage. I also think that we will see that US' lap dog, europe, will gradually become China's lap dog accelerating US' downfall. As for "EU is still acting as US lap dog. ", once a vulture, always a vulture. It is in their nature. So, I think we will see them continue being lame and taking the second seat. Your Canada suggestion is interesting. I am not sure what role they will play in a world of US decline. I suspect that they too will continue taking the back seat. Overall, really scary prospects.

Comments: Reza, I believe each person around Trump has his agenda. But for Trump himself, it is all about him. He has this need to always be the hero. Without it, he feels little. It is a classic sign of khod kam bini. We have seen this among some in IFP's past too. Common psychological problem. Problem is that he is too dim to figure out ways to improve things. So, he destroys in the hope that when destruction stops, everything will automate back to an improved normal and so he can say it was him and be a hero. Unfortunately, the biggest power in the world is currently hostage to the character flaws of an extremely insecure individual with a lot of mental issues.

Comments: Faramarz, that is true. The ruling class have dumbed down the population so much to manipulate them. They are conned into voting for what will harm them. They are told the root of their problems lie elsewhere (mostly accusing external powers (China), or non-white population and immigrants). China and Russia are going to fill the gaps left behind by the village idiot and China is going to become the #1 economy in the world dictating their influence. I am hoping for Canada to step in and take some of the void left behind to create a balance. EU is still acting as US lap dog.
