If he does this:

President Trump is set to court major tensions on his upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia next week, where he's expected to declare that the US will officially recognise the Persian Gulf as either the "Arabian Gulf" or the "Gulf of Arabia."

I will start warming up to him. But if this is just something that he will take back in a week, he will be in an even deeper hole in my book.

From the Oval Office on Tuesday, Trump teased a "very, very big announcement" happened before his Middle East trip, but declined to clarify the subject, besides saying it "wasn't necessarily about trade."

(Bloomberg) -- The dollar may face a $2.5 trillion “avalanche” of selling as Asian countries unwind their stockpile of the world’s reserve currency, according to Stephen Jen.

Asian exporters and investors may have amassed an “extremely large” pile of dollars through the years, widening the region’s trade surplus with the US, Eurizon SLJ Capital’s Jen and Joana Freire wrote in a note on Wednesday. As a US-led trade war deepens, some Asian investors might repatriate chunks of funds or ramp up levels of protection against a weakening dollar — potentially triggering an exodus from the world’s reserve currency.

“We suspect these dollar hoardings by Asian exporters and institutional investors may be extremely large – possibly on the order of $2.5 trillion or so – and pose sharp downside risks to the dollar vis-à-vis these Asian currencies,” Jen and Freire wrote.

The greenback’s long-term appeal is coming under threat as Donald Trump’s efforts to remake the global trade order prompt investors to reconsider their US exceptionalism trade strategies. An outsized jump in the Taiwan dollar on Monday added to speculation that Asia’s policymakers may be prepared to let their currencies appreciate versus the dollar as part of efforts to secure a trade deal with the US.

Simple!!!

Donald Trump has once again stirred controversy by claiming that the Covid-19 pandemic started from a leak in an American laboratory. His statement is a response to accusations from China, suggesting that the virus did not originate in Wuhan, but in the USA.

During a press conference at the White House, Trump stated that the virus could have been spread by a scientist who met with someone for lunch.

"I said that right from day one it leaked out, whether it was to the girlfriend or somebody else, [a] scientist walked outside to have lunch with the girlfriend or was together with a lot of people, but that’s how it leaked out in my opinion," said Trump, as quoted by ladbible.com.

Trump promised to end wars! Never start one either.
So far, the on going wars are not stopping. Israel keeps bombing anyone and anywhere they wish and we are still sending money and weapons.
Russia has not listened to Trump and Ukraine doesn’t want to give away land for peace.
Now, India and Pakistan started a new war.
Israel wants to bomb Iran and doing everything to drag US into this mess.
Where do we go from here?

President Trump is set to court major tensions on his upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia next week, where he's expected to declare that the US will officially recognise the Persian Gulf as either the "Arabian Gulf" or the "Gulf of Arabia."

This move comes as Arab countries have been lobbying for the geographical name change of the waterway that skims Iran's southern coast.

his has prompted Iran to defend the area's centuries-old name.

US officials leaked the plans to change the name of the body of water under strict anonymity due to the political sensitivity of the issue.

Both Donald Trump's White House and the National Security Council have refused to comment on the leak.

The area has been called the Persian Gulf since the 16th century and Iran has historically defended the gulf retaining its name, although in some parts of the Middle East, terms like "Arabian Gulf" or "Gulf of Arabia" are more common.

Calling the shots for Iran is national women’s futsal coach ForouzanSolymani, who brought five mainstays from the past champion squads.

Among those returning in the bid to keep the title in Iranian hands is Sara Shirbeigi, the Asian Women’s Futsal Cup all-time scorer with 14 goals and is bullish on making her presence felt after recovering from an injury.

“I hope we can become champions of Asia for the third consecutive time,” Shirbeigi said. “All our goals and efforts will be focused on this. However, as you know, achieving this is challenging since teams like Japan and Thailand are strong competitors. Nonetheless, we are Iran.”

“Our team still has weaknesses that we worked on during the recent SAT Futsal Championship in Thailand and I hope that by addressing these issues, we can lift the championship trophy for the third time and make our nation proud,” she added.

MATCH TODAY
(Hohhot Sports Center, Hohhot, China)
11 a.m. – Iran vs. Philippines

THE odds will be stacked against the Filipina5 when they take on back-to-back defending champion Iran today in their opening match in Group B, marking the Philippine debut in the AFC Women’s Asian Futsal Cup at the Hohhot Sports Center in Hohhot, China.

The charges of Spanish coach Rafa Rodriguez tangle with the daunting Iranians, who have won all 10 matches in the 2015 and 2018 editions of the competition and are eyeing a grand slam of titles and are ranked No. 9 in the FIFA women’s futsal ratings, at 11 a.m.

This intimidating prospect doesn’t faze Rodriguez, who came in as the head coach at virtually the last minute in January and took a newly revamped PH squad that stunned the field in the qualifiers in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
